This spring we purchased our first house! It is a little 1200 sq ft, two story house that we are going to remodel. It is defiinitely in rough shape but we are enjoying making it our own.
When we first moved in the entire downstairs was carpeted in this old grey carpet…yes, even the kitchen and bathroom. So as our first act as homeowners we promptly pulled it up! And…we discovered some awesome wood floors underneath in the bedroom and living room! Yay!

Luke renovated the shed out in the back and turned it into a chicken coop for our six little hens.
We also fenced off the back yard and put in a garden. It is just a small one with herbs, rhubarb, tomatoes, green beans and blackberries. Next year we hope to add on to it quite a bit.
We are home.
