Jump to RecipeThis week Luke needed a refill on his mouthwash so I was reminded that I’ve been wanting to share my very simple and effective mouthwash recipe with y’all.
Sometimes it’s hard to keep all my blog post ideas organized – I have so much bouncing around in my head at any given moment!
And mouth hygiene is an important topic man!
So here ya go…
DIY Simple and Healthy Mouthwash
- 16oz water
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 10 drops peppermint essential oil
- a couple drops of each lemon and clove essential oil, just because they are so good for oral health
Simply combine all the ingredients in a jar or bottle and shake it up! If you use warm water it helps the other ingredients incorporate better. Please don’t think I’m a loser for how easy this recipe is. Sometimes simpler is better.
We use this every evening after brushing our teeth and it really works quite well. Plus, it doesn’t have all those awful chemicals like the store-bought kinds do. And we like to avoid chemicals!
I hope you enjoy the recipe!
The end.
