fruit juice or syrup from home-canned fruit

beef gelatin
Instructions
Pour about 1/2 cup of cold fruit juice / syrup into an 8 by 8 dish.
Add 4 to 5 tablespoons of gelatin to the cold juice and whisk thoroughly, and it should thicken up.
Heat the rest of the juice in a pot until it is just hot to the touch, not boiling.
Slowly pour the hot juice into the gelatin mixture while you whisk it. It should be really thin at this point.
Put it in the refridgerator for 2 to 3 hours or overnight.
